My name is Robyn Hurley, and I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 18 years. My career began in 2005 in Banff, Alberta shortly after graduating from a 2200 hour Clinical Massage Therapy program (AKA Medical Massage) in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Since then I have completed courses in Cupping, Maternity Massage, Reflexology, Cranio, IASTM, Sports Massage, and Nutrition. I have worked in multiple Massage Therapy clinics in the Canadian Rockies, Heli-Skiing lodges, and for one of the #1 spas in North America!

I am often told by clients that I have a very unique style of body work and am frequently asked what 'type' it is. There is no answer to this question. My style and 'type' of massage comes from almost 2 decades of experience, and a strong sense of intuition.

With a few exceptions, massage should be very slow, firm but gentle, patient, intentional. You should feel relaxed, and be able to 'go zen' during a massage, which allows the therapist to work deeper into the muscle tissue, providing a feeling of balance and wellbeing both physical and psychological.

I look forward to seeing you on the table, the slopes and the trail 😃

Don't see a time that works for your schedule? Please feel free to send me a text, and I will be happy to try and accommodate to fit you in!

Please note at this time, I do not offer massage billing to insurance companies.

Modalities, Specialities & Gift Certificates

  • Cupping

A great way to release tension in the fascia, and add a different dimension to the massage by being able to separate, and pull apart the tissue instead of compressing it, as with traditional massage techniques. Cupping can be a fantastic addition for the right person needing this style of therapeutic work.

  • Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points are hyper-irritable points located in muscle tissue that have specific referral patterns. The most common cause of headaches, and deep muscle aches, trigger point work is one of the most effective ways to leave you feeling instant results from your massage treatment.

  • IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)

This modality uses specialized stainless steel tools to manipulate the skin, myofascia, muscles, and tendons. Various direct compressive stroke techniques help break down scar tissue, adhesions and loosen muscle fibers.

  • Reflexology

With over 7200 nerve endings in the feet, reflexology can be a very relaxing way to alleviate stress and promote homeostasis to all areas of the body (muscles, organs and joints), using light to medium pressure. This can be incorporated into any massage treatment.

  • Aromatherapy

All massage treatments include the complimentary addition of an essential oil blend of your choice, to customize, and enhance your experience. Whether you are needing your spirit uplifted, calmed, or renewed; or something targeted for sore muscles and inflammation. I also offer a selection of oils that are created specifically to be pregnancy safe!

  • Maternity Massage

Using modified techniques, pressure and positioning, depending on the trimester, maternity massage can be a safe and effective way to balance the hormones, decrease stress, and relieve muscle tension.

  • Go Seamless!

Return ‘seamlessly’ back to work, or running errands, post massage with the use of soft, fleece, face cradle covers! Designed specially to avoid the dreaded forehead wrinkle, you’ll be able to head back to the world without looking like you just peeled yourself off a massage table!
